If you are a woman interested in breastfeeding, La Leche League (LLL) of Bordentown welcomes you. LLL meetings offer a unique opportunity for you to learn more about this natural way of nurturing your baby.
LLL Leaders are experienced nursing mothers accredited by La Leche League International and are well prepared to answer your questions. At informal, discussion-style meetings, all mothers attending readily share their first-hand accounts of breastfeeding and practical mothering tips. The Group helps provide the womanly support that is so crucial to a nursing mother.
Out of respect for the privacy that many new mothers desire while becoming more familiar with breastfeeding, meetings are limited to breastfeeding and pregnant mothers and their female support persons. Each mother is always welcome to bring all of her children, including toddlers or older siblings of a breastfeeding baby.
The Bordentown Group (formerly LLL of Crosswicks) formed in August 2006 to meet the needs of area mothers who are interested in breastfeeding. We hold monthly Series Meetings the second Friday of each month at the Bordentown Library in Bordentown.
For breastfeeding information at any time or to answer questions about our meetings, you may call, text or email a Leader in the Bordentown/Burlington/Hamilton areas as well as Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst:
